Dot, or Dolly as many knew her, had many professions throughout her lifetime – telephone operator, medical office assistant, cake decorator, payroll administrator and IT administrator. Dot was kind, generous and a “mom” to many. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and bragged to anyone who would listen.
Dot was a fierce personality who spoke her mind and stood up for what she believed in. She embodied love, acceptance and compassion and was the first to lend a hand to someone in need. She was described as the life of the party – she had a punch line to every story and laughter filled the room when she was present. Dot had an adventurous soul, which took her to many places throughout her lifetime with the love of her life, Robert McCoy. Some of their greatest adventures included traveling to Ireland, Hawaii and visiting family and friends across the U.S. Her passing will leave an irreplaceable void, but those that had the honor of knowing her were truly better off because of it.
