John ‘Jack’ Hartkorn, age 76, passed away on December 9, 2019. Jack was born in Nanticoke, Pa. and spent most of his life in Bucks County, including Warminster, Jamison, and Quakertown. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Wright (Wayne) and two stepdaughters, JoAnn Carr (Ron) and Cheryl Christman (Randy). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Tanya, Rebecca, Shannon, Courtney, and Cody; sister Carol Lockett (Robert), nephew Robert (Lora) and many generations of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Brieling) Hartkorn.

Jack was retired from Warminster Township Public Works and a lifetime member of Warwick Fire Company No. 1. He spent many years serving the community, including being the fire company’s first Santa Claus to visit the town via firetruck. A role he truly enjoyed! His hobbies included fishing, hunting, cross stitch, and growing vegetables in the family garden on the farm.
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers and to support Jack’s love of animals, the family is requesting donations be made in his name to Harley’s Haven Dog Rescue [a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization] 1419 Ridge Road Perkasie, PA 18944.
