Every time I hear whistling, I think of you. In the shop I could always find you cause all I had to do is follow the whistle. Music wasn’t your only love. The Phillies, Eagles, ice cream and pretzels were high on the list. Preferably watching the former while eating the later.
Whenever we had a DIY project underway you were there, lending your expertise and usually making us laugh in the process. I especially loved the stories you would tell about working summers on the farm in Newtown. You were a hard worker your whole life.
You enjoyed all our animals tremendously and gave them the love and attention you gave every other family member. Cody’s pure joy every time he saw you, tells me the feeling was mutual.
Amelia’s memories involve ball tossing, frisbee playing and a shared love of sweets. An eager listener of all her stories, Grandpop will be greatly missed.
I’m going to hold a picture of you in my mind walking out to see the horses, your cap on your head and of course, whistling.
