Sad that Great Aunt Sara has passed, but so thankful that I was able to spend some time with her while she was here. She was willing to connect me to a part of our shared history that no one else was able to. I will miss her and her kind heart.

I was very sad to hear about the passing of Aunt Sara. My favorite memories of her were listening to her stories about growing up with her 3 brothers and her memories of her Mom and Dad. We didn't get to visit often, but those visits were always special. She was a very kind person and cared for her parents in their later years. She led a full life and will be missed.

I came to know my great Aunt Sara later in life. It was instantly apparent that her warmth and love for her family was a paramount value to her. One of my favorite memories of her was her presence at my bridal shower. She eagerly and happily participated in being wrapped up in a toilet paper wedding gown and led her team to victory. Since then, every letter and card she ever sent warmly referred to me as her namesake. I hope to continue to honor her name with the same love and warmth she has always had for family and other. I will miss you Aunt Sara. You were a gift to us all.

For me, Aunt Sara was a wonderful person. She (and Uncle Al) were always happy, kind, and generous. Also, about 15 years ago, they kindly allowed me to make some copies of old Kincaid family photos. They were supportive upon the deaths of my parents, too. We visited with Auny Sara after she moved to the senior-living facility and otherwise stayed in touch with her by phone, with her frequently calling us. We are saddened by her passing but celebrate her robust life.
