was 50 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Lonny Strang and Nancy (nee
VanDenplas) Strang of Warminster PA. He was the beloved husband of Hilda Alvarez-Strang. He was the
loving brother of Richard (Kristi), of Chalfont, PA, Kevin (Cristi) of Grapevine, TX, and Catherine (James)
Sampson of Cheltenham PA. Also surviving are his nieces, Alycia, Michelle, Celia and Libby Strang, and
nephews Benjamin and Nicholas Sampson. David married the love of his life, Hilda, and lived with her in
Miami for the last 21 years. He was many things - an avid Philadelphia sports fan, a passionate fan of DCI
Drum and Bugle Corps, a music lover, a foodie, an enthusiastic cook, a gamer, and a fisherman. David
was very close to his family and loved when the entire family was together. He was a kind and sensitive
man who loved to laugh and make people happy and he was a good and loyal friend. He is sorely missed
by all who knew him. Relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 AM on Thursday March 7, until the
time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, at Nativity of Our Lord Church, Street Road in Warminster PA.
Interment will be at St. John Neuman Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family online at the
