Nurses in 1950. She was stationed at Shepherd Air Force Base in Wichita Falls,
Texas where she served as Second Lieutenant during the Korean War. She married
Harold Hummel on February 26, 1955. She worked as a nurse for many years at

Helen is predeceased by her parents, her husband Harold, and her five siblings.
She is survived by her three children: Glenn (Susan) of Lafayette Hill, Gary (Kiki) of
Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Carol (Gary) VanBuskirk of Warminster as well as her

remembered by her grandchildren: Robert (Lisa Li) Hummel, Bethany (Ryan)
