Obituary for James T. Latare

James T. Latare of Warminster died peacefully November 4, 2018 at the age of 82.
James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie (nee Tyler) of 53 years, as well as sisters Elaine and Laverne. James will be greatly missed by his two loving sons: James T. Jr. (Pamela) and Lance F. (Kristen). James also leaves behind an impressive legacy in his four grandchildren; Danielle, Austin, Lance Jr. and Searra. He is also survived by his sister Paula.
James will be remembered for his service to the U.S Navy from 1954 to 1957 aboard the USS New Jersey BB-62, where he had an opportunity to be part of a North Pole Expedition.
James retired from SPS Technologies in Jenkintown after 38 years of service.
James loved all animals, especially his beloved dogs. He also loved watching his boys play hockey.
Relatives and friends are invited to James’ Life Celebration service on Saturday November 10th at the Decker Funeral Home (216 York Road, Warminster, PA 18974) from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am; interment at Rosedale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in James’ memory to the Pennsylvania SPCA (pspca.org/donate) would be greatly appreciated.
