Obituary for Carol Ann Ceneviva (DiGioacchino)

Carol Ann Ceneviva (nee DiGioacchino) of Hatboro passed away on August 7, 2018, at her home and is survived by her nieces and nephews.

Carol retired in 2008 after 43 years of service as the Administrative Assistant to the 111th Attack Wings Base Civil Engineering Commander’s Office of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, Willow Grove Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base. She was a proud member for 48 years of the Bucks County Kennel Club and one of the original members of the Hatboro Dog Club. She was on the board of directors of the Berkshire Valley Bassett Hound Club, and 25year member of the Bassett Hound Club of America. She was also a member of the Delaware Valley Papillion Club and the Delaware Valley Chinese Crested Club.

In 2016 Carol received the Outstanding Sportsman Award from the American Kennel Club (AKC) presented to her by the Bucks County Kennel Club. Carol was a passionate dog lover and breeder of Borzoi’s (Russian Wolfhounds), Irish Wolfhounds and Bassett Hounds. She was an ardent advocate for pure bred dogs in confirmation, obedience, coursing, field trials etc. One of her greatest pleasures was befriending,
educating and mentoring the novice into the dog show world. She was also a Judge of many Matches and Sweepstakes.

Carol will be greatly missed by her family and many friends across the dog world.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, August 18th, after 10:00 am until the time of her service at 11:00 am in First Presbyterian Church of Warminster, 500 Madison Avenue, Warminster,PA 18974. Interment will be private.
