Dorothy "Dot" Lange (Cline)
Dorothy F. (Dot) (nee Cline) Lange, age 76, of Warrington, PA passed suddenly on May 26, 2018. She
was the daughter of the late Raymond and Nora (Moran) Cline. She was the beloved wife for 29 years of
the late of Howard (Buz) L. Lange. Loving and devoted mother of Brian (Lynn), Colleen, and Kevin
(Nelia). Grandmother to five granddaughters and one grandson. She will be lovingly remembered by her
two brothers, Ray and Len (Janet). Her sister, Sister Raymond Mary,RSM, and her sister-in-law, Peggy Cline preceded her in death. Her many nieces and nephews who were so precious to her mourn her loss. Dot was born in West Oak Lane in Philadelphia, attended Saint Benedict grade school, graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School with highest honors and was concertmeister in the school orchestra. Dot worked for Merck & Co., Inc on Broad Street in Philadelphia and later at West Point, PA until she married in 1964. The family later moved to Warminster, PA and Dot became an active member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish in multiple capacities including the church secretary for over 30 years until her death. Dot was a faith filled woman who became an Associate of the Sisters of Mercy where she found her greatest joy. She was a true example of the Mercy Charism, dedicated to address human needs especially those of the poor. In later years, Dot became a parishioner of Saint Robert Bellarmine where she attended daily mass, and was an Extraordinary Minister, teacher for the Rite of Christian Initiation for
Adults (RCIA), and the church sacristan. Dot enjoyed traveling to all corners of the world including pilgrimages to Lourdes, Fatima and The Holy Land. You often found her visiting those who were sick or in need of care. Along with her dedication to Mercy, Dot was close to the mission of Saint Katherine Drexel, the Poor Clares and Holy Spirit Radio. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, June 02, 2018 at Saint Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Warrington, PA. The family will welcome visitors at 9:00 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at
11:00 a.m. with Interment will take place at St. John Neumann Cemetery. Contributions in Dot’s memory may be made to Cranaleith Spiritual Center (13475 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116) or Mercy Career and Technical High School (2900 W. Hunting Park Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19129).
